The training was organized as part of the Competency Based Education and Training (CBET) implementation.The participants of the training were members of staff nominated from the departments with CBET programmes selected by the institute implementation committee. The implementation committee has selected the following programmes:

Training goal

The main objective behind the training workshop on competency based assessment was to get the trainers;

         2. Conduct competency based assessment
         3. Train TVET trainers and other stakeholders on how to conduct  competency based assessment
         4. Demonstrate understanding of registration process of assessors/verifiers and competence certification process
