Eldoret Technical Training Institute (ETTI) was started in the year 2009. It was accredited in 2011 by ministry  of Higher Education Science and Technology (MOHEST)(MOHEST PC/1692/011. It was also licensed in 2016 under the TVET Act 2013.

Since then, the Board of directors, the management , staff and students have collectively embarked on a transformative journey aiming at placing ETTI as a strategic player in National development, and an academia center of Excellence. Aware of our motto as ideology for betterment of humanity we have endeavored to ensure not only prudent management of resources at our disposal but also the highest quality of service delivery to our clients and all stakeholders.

Eldoret Technical Training Institute (ETTI), has been growing steadily over the few years that it has been in operation, and the student population has also grown to 4600 a cross various schools and departments. We have six (7) schools – (Business, Engineering, Social science, health science, Applied science, Agriculture and Animal Health) with thirteen (14) departments- mass communication, ICT, business and commerce, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Land Survey, Building Sciences, Social Sciences, Fashion Design & hair dressing and Beauty Therapy, Tourism and Hospitality, Nutrition and Dietetics and Library science.

Computers in the lab are well configured suitable for use of application softwares.

ICT enabled classrooms for enriching teaching and learning process.

Equipped with a full range of the latest features, ETTI studio is a digital wonderland for any professional productions. Leveraging IT technologies and professional broadcast equipment together gives us the ability to make anything possible.

This enables students to develops  excellent skills and sound foundation for working in a restaurant, catering or other food service enterprise.

Areas covered vary from kitchen and food management to planning a menu, restaurant staffing and waiter/waitress skills.

Computers in the Digital Library provide access to the Internet, Library catalog and databases with hundreds  of articles, thousands of eBooks  designed to help students find the information they need.

The ETTI Farm is the place where our students literally get their hands dirty putting into practice the concepts they learn in the classroom. Current enterprises at the ETTI Farm include maize, cabbages, spinach, kales, cattle, pigs and rabbits.

The workshop has improved it’s training facilities over the years, especially in Mechanical,Automotive,Electrical & Civil Engineering production, by introducing state of the art training machines

This has enhanced the trainings to conform to the dynamic technology experienced by most industries in Kenya
