Welcome to Eldoret Technical Training Institute
Eldoret Technical Training Institute was established in 2009 with a vision to build a world class prestigious institution offering innovative and high quality education, unique learning environment, state of the art facilities and infrastructure. ETTI was given accreditation status by government through Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology (MOHEST) 2011.
Since its inception as a Private Tertiary institution, dedicated effort of the Board of Directors teaching faculty and institute’s management brought it to the level of nationality recognition. I firmly believe that the role of Tertiary institution in the twenty first century in Kenya is to respond to phenomenal changes unleashed by rapid advancement in Science and Technology for the economic development of country as well as the challenge posed by globalization.
ETTI is playing a significant role in the lives of thousands of young students and graduates of Environmental Science, Business Studies, Information Technology and Computer studies, Art, Social science and Engineering.

Eldoret Technical Training Institute (ETTI), has been growing steadily over the few years that it has been in operation, and the student population has also grown to 4600 a cross various schools and departments. We have six (7) schools – (Business, Engineering, Social science, health science, Applied science, Agriculture and Animal Health) with thirteen (14) departments- mass communication, ICT, business and commerce, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Land Survey, Building Sciences, Social Sciences, Fashion Design & hair dressing and Beauty Therapy, Tourism and Hospitality, Nutrition and Dietetics and Library science.
Due to diligence, dedication and commitment by our tutors and an elaborate learning culture developed over time, our candidates have been recording excellent performance both in internal and external examination, most recent being 78% average performance in KNEC exams
We have campuses in Eldoret and Lodwar.

Dean of Students’ Office
The Dean of Students is the liaison officer between the students and the administration. The Office of the Dean is concerned with the student’s welfare. At ETTI, we believe that student’s academic success is dependent on good emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing, and the Dean of Students is responsible for this.
The following services are offered by the Office of the Dean:
- Advisory, counseling and liaison
- Students entertainment
- Facilitation of games and sports
- Facilitation of the registration of clubs and societies
- Facilitation of the clubs and societies trips
- Facilitation of spiritual support and development
Clubs and Societies
The office advises on the modalities of the formation of clubs and societies. It also helps in the registration of clubs and societies and supports them to function within the institute. Students are encouraged to join various clubs or to form new ones. The students interested in forming a club hold meeting, draft a constitution in consultation with the patron and the Office of the Dean. The following clubs are registered at ETTI.
Tourism Club, Karate, Journalism, Environment and health, Drama and music, Young Christian Society(YCS), Seventh Day Adventist(SDA), Red Cross, Nutrition club and Agriculture
The Office is also coordinating the running of sports in the institute. The following games activities are available at ETTI; Football, Volleyball, Rugby, Athletics
